Job Title: Power Validation Engineer II
Location: Redmond WA Onsite 5 days a week
Duration: 12 months
Job Responsibilities
:Validate and characterize power subsystems from early proof-of-concept to mass productio
nBring up, debug, and validate power circuitry on prototype hardwar
eDevelop and maintain automation frameworks for power measurement and testin
gExecute test cases related to power validatio
nCapture power consumption data under different use case
sReport issues in bug tracking systems and debug with hardware and software team
sSupport root cause analysis for power, SoC/Memory, and other component
sMaintain and improve validation test reports, plans, and test instruction

n:Debug power issues with cross-functional software, firmware, and hardware tea
msCandidate will work on wearable devices, defining power measurement methodologies and bringing up power validation from early proof-of-concept through mass productio
n.Candidate will implement validation infrastructure to support automation of power measurements and ensure the product meets power KPI
s.Candidate will collaborate with Power and Performance architecture and cross-functional software, firmware, and hardware teams to debug power issues and validate power subsystems from concept to OK2Ship phas
e.
Must-Have Skill
s: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experie
nce3+ years of experience validating power subsystems for consumer devi
cesWorking knowledge of Bucks, Boost, LDOs, Load Switches, Fuel Gauge, SoC power, e
tc.Basic understanding of Android OS, Linux kernel, and SoC power architect
ureFamiliarity with communication protocols — I2C, SPI, U
ARTExperience defining validation plans for power subsyst
emsExperience capturing power consumption data under different use ca
sesExperience using lab equipment (multimeters, power supplies, loads, oscilloscopes, data acquisition uni
ts)3+ years of experience writing scripts in Python/LabV
