Senior Power Electronics Engineer | Boston, MA (Onsite)
I'm partnering with an innovative technology company developing next-generation hardware systems to hire a Senior Power Electronics Engineer.
In this role, you'll design and develop low-noise power electronics for highly sensitive, precision hardware, taking projects from architecture and prototyping through testing, validation, and production.
Key Responsibilities
Design low-noise AC/DC and DC/DC power systems, linear regulators, and precision power delivery solutions.
Develop, test, and troubleshoot power electronics hardware and mixed-signal designs.
Optimize power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC performance, thermal management, and system stability.
Support system integration, validation, and transition from prototype to production.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentor junior engineers.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of power electronics experience.
Strong expertise in DC/DC converters, linear regulation, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and low-noise design.
Experience with PCB design, SPICE simulation, and MATLAB and/or Python.
Background in precision instrumentation, scientific hardware, or other noise-sensitive systems is highly desirable.
Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 base salary, plus equity.
