Job:Post Silicon Validation Engineer (10+ Years)
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Post Silicon Validation Engineer to support SoC/ASIC bring-up, validation, and debugging for high-speed networking and compute platforms. The role involves hands-on lab validation, system-level debugging, and automation using scripting languages.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform post-silicon bring-up including power-on, reset sequencing, clock initialization, and strap configuration
· Validate and debug SoC/ASIC platforms and high-speed interfaces
· Work on PCIe (Gen4/Gen5/Gen6) and Ethernet (100G/400G/800G) validation
· Validate MAC/PHY layers and high-speed SerDes interfaces
· Develop and execute validation test plans and automation scripts using Python / C / C++ / Perl / TCL
· Conduct system-level debugging, failure analysis, and root cause identification
· Use lab equipment including oscilloscope, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, traffic generator, and multimeter
· Perform platform bring-up across multiple hardware configurations
· Analyze test results and prepare detailed validation reports
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Firmware, BIOS, Layout, Platform, IP Design, and Silicon Design
Required Skills
· Strong experience in Post Silicon Validation / System Validation
· Hands-on experience with SoC / ASIC bring-up and debug
· Expertise in PCIe (Gen4 and above) and Ethernet high-speed interfaces
· Strong understanding of SerDes, signal integrity, and protocol analysis
· Experience with lab debugging tools:
o Oscilloscope
o Logic Analyzer
o Protocol Analyzer
· Strong scripting skills in Python (preferred), TCL, Perl, or C/C++
· Experience in hardware + firmware debugging and system-level issue resolution
Preferred Skills
· Experience with networking ASICs / high-speed interconnect systems
· Strong exposure to firmware and hardware co-debugging
· Experience working in cross-functional silicon validation teams
· Education: B.E / B.Tech – ECE or related
