Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Post-Silicon Characterization & Production Test Engineer to support characterization and production testing of ARM or RISC-V based automotive microcontroller SoC products. The engineer will focus on digital IP and functional blocks, production test program development, ATE automation, measurement analysis, and silicon issue debugging in collaboration with chip design teams.
Key Responsibilities
Perform post-silicon characterization and production test activities for automotive microcontroller SoCs.
Develop production test programs for automotive microcontrollers.
Work on SMT7 and SMT8 production test platforms.
Drive technical innovation in measurement automation on ATE platforms, preferably V93K.
Perform characterization to analyze device performance and compliance against datasheet specifications.
Conceptualize, design, and implement hardware and automation software for characterization and production test.
Use lab equipment to support measurements, analysis, and debug activities.
Work closely with chip design teams to debug silicon issues.
Required Technical Skills
Mandatory
Experience in post-silicon characterization or production test of semiconductor devices.
Understanding of ARM or RISC-V based microcontroller or automotive SoC products.
Strong electrical circuit fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Firmware coding and scripting skills.
Experience with characterization automation or ATE-based testing.
Ability to analyze device performance against datasheet parameters.
Preferred Skills
Advantest V93K experience.
SMT7 and SMT8 experience.
NI LabVIEW experience.
Experience using oscilloscopes, Source Measure Units, power supplies, functional generators, and similar equipment.
Automotive microcontroller product experience.
Educational Qualification
M.Tech / M.E / M.S or B.Tech / B.E in Electronics, Microelectronics, VLSI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
