Ph.D. in ECE/ EEE / Computer Science Engineering / Quantum Computing / Signal Processing / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence / Information and Communication Engineering or other relevant disciplines from premier institutes in the country

Desirable Qualification

The candidate is expected to have experience in quantum computing / quantum information processing / digital image and signal processing / machine and deep learning / soft computing algorithms, with a good publication record. Required Skill Set: Qiskit / PennyLane / Cirq, MATLAB / Simulink, Python (NumPy, OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch), quantum simulators and access to quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, etc.), and familiarity with FPGA/embedded implementation of signal processing algorithms.

Quantum image representation and encoding techniques (FRQI, NEQR, QPIE)
Quantum algorithms for image enhancement, filtering, and edge detection
Quantum signal processing and quantum Fourier transform–based spectral analysis
Quantum machine learning for image classification, segmentation, and pattern recognition
Hybrid quantum–classical algorithms for denoising and compression of images/signals
Quantum-inspired optimization for signal reconstruction and feature extraction
