How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Provide technical leadership to a team of strong individual designers on the design and development of high performance tunable lasers, high speed devices and PIC integration
Lead interactions within internal teams on design and qualification efforts
Enhance and rigorously execute on design methodologies and processes
Work with cross-functional teams to understand and define product requirements and plans
Independently resolves issues and conquer technical challenges
Provide inputs into product road maps
Key Skills And Experience
MS/PhD in engineering, 10+ years’ experience in telecommunications, optoelectronics, or microelectronics development
A strong understanding of optical components design, epitaxy, fabrication and component/system level tests.
Strong background with semiconductor optical devices such as laser, detectors, modulators and other integrated waveguide devices.
Ability to work with a large body of data and the necessary statistical analysis tools, and the ability to present the data and ideas to a diverse audience.
The Job will require frequent collaborative interaction with fab, epitaxy, test and reliability engineering, packaging, product engineering, and system engineering groups
Strong leadership and communication and engineering and project management skills
