Job Role: Physical Design Engineer – Fresher / Trained

Job Description

Work on the complete VLSI Physical Design flow from RTL to GDSII.
Perform Floorplanning and Power Planning.
Handle Placement and Optimization activities.
Work on Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS).
Perform Routing and Post-Route Optimization.
Analyse and resolve timing violations.
Apply Static Timing Analysis (STA) concepts.
Analyse Setup and Hold violations.
Understand and support Physical Verification activities including DRC and LVS.
Analyse congestion, timing, and power-related issues.
Support physical design implementation and sign-off activities.
Work with experienced technical teams and contribute to project requirements.

B.Tech Candidates:

2023 B.Tech pass-outs
Specialisation in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electrical / VLSI or related fields
Completed formal Physical Design training
Strong interest in pursuing a career in VLSI

M.Tech Candidates

2025 M.Tech pass-outs
Specialisation in VLSI / Microelectronics / Electronics or related fields
Completed or undergone Physical Design training
Strong fundamentals in VLSI and Physical Design

Candidate Profile

Strong fundamentals in VLSI.
Good understanding of Physical Design concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexibility to work according to project requirements.
