Photolithography Equipment Engineer

Insight Global is hiring a Photolithography Equipment Engineer to support TEL ACT-8, Lithius, and Lithius ProZ tools. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining lithography equipment and associated systems (including cooling systems) to ensure optimal performance.
The engineer will focus on improving tool uptime, monitoring SPC performance, and driving continuous improvement across litho operations. This includes directing technicians on preventive maintenance, improving PM execution, and reducing unscheduled downtime through strong problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair TEL lithography equipment (ACT-8, Lithius, Lithius ProZ)
Maintain and optimize tool performance to meet specifications
Monitor SPC and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Lead and improve preventative maintenance (PM) execution
Shift reactive maintenance into preventative strategies to reduce downtime
Document repairs, maintain equipment logs, and create troubleshooting plans
Coordinate PM schedules with production to maximize uptime
Provide direction and guidance to technicians on maintenance processes
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience + Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
Strong experience maintaining and improving TEL tracks/spinners
Experience writing and improving work procedures
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
Strong analytical, mechanical, and problem-solving mindset
Nice to Have
Hands-on engineering experience with TEL Lithius and Lithius ProZ platforms
