Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
3+ years of Performance Engineering experience.
2+ years with observability tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana).
2+ years working in AWS or GCP, including EKS and/or GKE.
1+ year using load testing tools (k6, Locust, JMeter) in distributed or containerized environments.
1+ year building and running performance test environments in AWS.
1+ year analyzing logs, metrics, and traces to identify performance issues.
Hands on experience with Linux performance diagnostics (CPU, memory, disk, network).
Roles & Responsibilities
Proven experience standing up performance engineering capabilities from scratch.
Experience testing cross cloud latency and connectivity.
Experience using Terraform to tune infrastructure during performance tests.
Experience evaluating data and AI/ML workload performance (BigQuery, Vertex AI, or similar).
Scripting or automation skills (Python, Go, Bash).
Bonus: Experience in Retail Media, AdTech, or high concurrency platforms where performance impacts revenue.
