About the Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to join our team as a Performance Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for extracting data from our DAS Provider, data validation, performance reporting and analysis, periodic system assessment, and project onboarding.
Perform DAS software set up and programming in conjunction with EOMs/EOTs and DAS Provider
Responsible for carrying out performance testing (i.e., Capacity Test) on new projects
Monitoring and diagnostic support for EOMs
Identify operational issues and initiate problem resolution with EOMs
Calculate and analyze energy losses incurred from equipment outages
Provide data to the Customer Service Team for reporting
Assist and support in data analytics based on performance needs
Qualifications / Desired Skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, physics, or electrical engineering. Graduate degree is a bonus but not required
Three to four years of experience with production analytics, performance testing and system assessments of energy assets required
Ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with key stakeholders
Flexibility and adaptability in changing priorities and assignments while managing rapidly changing information
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with data in various formats
Self-starter, strong initiatives, and an excellent communicator
System and product level mindset
Organization, detailed-oriented nature, and strong initiative
