Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform EMC validation testing for automotive components and ECUs, including both bench-level and chamber-based testing.
Execute and interpret tests as per industry standards such as:
ISO 11452 (Immunity testing)
ISO 7637 (Transient immunity)
CISPR 25 (Emission testing)
Plan, prepare, and conduct EMC test setups, ensuring accurate configuration and calibration of test equipment.
Analyze test results, identify non-compliances, and provide actionable recommendations for design improvements.
Collaborate with design, hardware, and system engineering teams to address EMC-related issues.
Document test results, validation reports, and compliance status in a structured and traceable manner.
Support troubleshooting activities during EMC failures and drive root cause analysis.
Ensure adherence to automotive validation processes and quality standards.
Required Skills & Expertise
Strong knowledge of EMC principles and automotive standards (ISO 11452, ISO 7637, CISPR 25).
Hands-on experience with ECU EMC validation, including both bench testing and chamber testing.
Familiarity with EMC test equipment such as LISN, antennas, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
Ability to interpret test results and suggest improvements for compliance.
Understanding of automotive electronics and system-level interactions.
Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the automotive domain with exposure to electronic control units (ECUs).
Familiarity with validation lifecycle and compliance documentation.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Has more than a year of relevant work experience. Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design and software development principles. Consistently works to direction with minimal supervision, producing accurate and reliable results. Individuals are expected to be able to work on a range of tasks and problems, demonstrating their ability to apply their skills and knowledge. Organises own time to deliver against tasks set by others with a mid term horizon. Works co-operatively with others to achieve team goals and has a direct and positive impact on project performance and make decisions based on their understanding of the situation, not just the rules.
