PCBA Design Engineer – Power Electronics
We are seeking an experienced PCBA Design Engineer to support the design and development of innovative power electronics and EV charging solutions. This role is responsible for the full PCB/PCBA development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through prototyping, validation, and production release, supporting products used in commercial, industrial, medical, military, and consumer applications.

Key responsibilities include:
Design and develop mixed-signal, analog, and digital PCB/PCBA solutions for EV charging products, power electronics, and embedded control systems
Create schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, assembly drawings, and Bills of Material using OrCAD and other CAD/simulation tools
Lead product design activities from concept generation through manufacturing release, ensuring performance, reliability, quality, and cost objectives are achieved
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to optimize product quality, test performance, and manufacturability
Analyze customer requirements and translate system needs into robust electrical design solutions
Conduct design reviews, feasibility studies, prototype builds, functional testing, and engineering analysis to validate product performance
Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
Apply engineering methodologies such as FMEA, DOE, signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC analysis to improve product reliability and performance
Work cross-functionally with firmware, mechanical, tooling, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure subsystem integration and successful product launches
Identify VAVE and continuous improvement opportunities to support cost reduction and product optimization initiatives
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and evolving market requirements related to PCB and power electronics design
Interface directly with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support technical discussions, project updates, and development timelines
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing engineering environment

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
5–8 years of experience in PCB/PCBA design and power electronics development
Strong experience with mixed-signal board design, analog and power circuitry, ADCs/DACs, DC/DC converters, op amps, sensors, and MCU integration
Knowledge of PCB design fundamentals including signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations
Hands-on experience using electronic lab equipment for debugging, bring-up, testing, and troubleshooting PCBAs
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams
