PCB Layout Engineer (Memory Boards) | 5–10 Years
Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced PCB Layout Engineer with expertise in high-speed memory and storage board design. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Cadence Allegro and designing multilayer PCBs for DDR4/DDR5, LPDDR, NAND Flash, eMMC, UFS, PCIe Gen4/Gen5, and NVMe SSDs.
Key Responsibilities:
Design high-speed multilayer PCB layouts for memory/storage products.
Perform placement and routing for complex digital and mixed-signal boards.
Implement controlled impedance, differential pair routing, and length matching.
Collaborate with hardware, SI/PI, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
Ensure compliance with SI/PI, EMC/EMI, DFM, and DFA guidelines.
Generate manufacturing outputs (Gerber, ODB++, IPC-2581) and support board bring-up.
Required Skills:
5–10 years of PCB layout experience.
Strong expertise in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
Experience with DDR4/DDR5, LPDDR, NAND Flash, eMMC, UFS, PCIe, and NVMe SSDs.
Strong knowledge of high-speed routing, impedance control, differential pairs, stack-up planning, and PCB manufacturing.
Familiarity with SI/PI concepts and DFM/DFA best practices.
Preferred:
Experience with HDI, blind/buried vias, microvias, HyperLynx, Valor DFM, and board bring-up/debugging.
