Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a PCB DFM CAM Engineer based in Santa Ana, CA. The PCB DFM CAM Engineer will be responsible for managing and analyzing physical design data, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools, and supporting the design for manufacturability (DFM) of printed circuit boards. Other responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of designs for production, troubleshooting EDA-related issues, and collaborating with team members to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Experience in Physical Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) processes for PCB manufacturing
Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and DFM best practices
Proficiency in using EDA tools and software for PCB design
Familiarity with Cadence or similar tools used in PCB engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and the ability to ensure design accuracy for manufacturability
Previous experience in PCB manufacturing or a related field is a plus
Technical degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred
