Job Title: PCB Design Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are looking for a PCB Design Engineer with experience in designing high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic products. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro and be comfortable handling the complete PCB design process from schematic review to manufacturing release.
Key Responsibilities
Design PCB layouts using Cadence Allegro 17.2/17.4.
Create and maintain PCB libraries, design rules, and constraints.
Work on digital, analog, mixed-signal, and RF PCB designs.
Perform component placement, routing, power plane design, and layer stack-up creation.
Route high-speed signals while ensuring proper length matching, impedance control, and design quality.
Support interfaces such as DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet, and PMIC.
Generate Gerber files and manufacturing documentation for PCB fabrication.
Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product development.
Review designs, troubleshoot layout issues, and support junior engineers when needed.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with Cadence Allegro 17.2/17.4 (required).
Hands-on experience with PCB layout design from schematics to Gerber release.
Good understanding of PCB stack-up, power planes, routing, and design constraints.
Experience with high-speed PCB design and industry manufacturing standards.
Knowledge of RF PCB design is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
