Summary
The Quality Engineer/Ongoing-Reliability Engineer is responsible for helping ensure our products, processes, and systems meet the highest standards. Collaborate with
engineering and operations to drive continuous improvement and deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of ORT and DPA laboratories
Ensure all lab equipment is calibrated, maintained, and compliant with applicable standards
Develop and enforce lab procedures, safety policies, and best practices
Coordinate lab scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation
Design and execute ORT plans based on product requirements and industry standards
Monitor ongoing tests (thermal cycling, POD, etc.)
Manage routing and workorder relationships
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product robustness
Perform and supervise DPA (dye and pry, cross-section, p-lapping, etc.)
Identify root causes of failures and defects
Prepare failure analysis reports
Debug test units from ORT stress tests
Support internal and external audits (customer and third-party)
Maintain proper documentation, traceability, and record retention
Drive corrective actions and ensure timely closure
Work closely with Manufacturing, and Quality teams
Support NPI qualification and product validation activities
Basic Qualifications
Strong root cause analysis skills (8D, FMEA, Fishbone)
Proficient in data analysis and technical reporting
Effective communication and reporting skills
High attention to detail and accountability
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to speak, read, and write English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in on-going reliability testing, POD testing, DPA, SFC, routing design, or lab material management.
Experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing preferred
Experience with lab and FA equipment (SEM, X-ray, optical microscopy, environmental chambers, grinder, etc)
Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments
Knowledge of failure analysis methodologies and reliability testing standards
Experience with statistical analysis tools and data visualization software
Experience training or mentoring technicians and junior engineers
Experience working in a cross-functional environment with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams
Ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin Chinese, Vietnamese, or Spanish
Education and Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical. Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
