Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nonmetallic Engineer role based in Houston, TX. The Nonmetallic Engineer will oversee and manage material selection, analysis, and evaluation to propose effective nonmetallic solutions. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, preparing reports, supporting engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting materials-related issues and monitoring the performance of nonmetallic components within client operations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in material analysis, selection, and evaluation for nonmetallic components
Technical skills in inspecting and testing materials used in chemical, pipeline, or refining industries
Strong understanding of corrosion processes, protective coatings, and material compatibility
Ability to prepare technical reports and clearly communicate findings
Experience working collaboratively with engineering and project management teams
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (preferred: Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in corrosion and materials engineering
Previous experience in chemical processing, refining, petrochemical, or related industries is a plus
