Requirements

B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in or municipal design and/or reviews.
Some AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred.
Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design tasks include stormwater and detention basin, and infrastructure rehabilitation, various state and local permitting.
Report preparation.
Preparation of permit applications.
Review of subdivision plans and utility plans submitted by developers for approval.
Review development plans for conformance with local ordinances, including subdivision and land development, zoning, grading, stormwater, escrow accounts, construction administration.
