Role Description
We are seeking talented full-time RFIC Design Engineers to join our team in San Jose and Irvine, CA. In this on-site role, you will design and develop RFIC components for advanced communication systems along with a highly skilled team designing cutting-edge RF integrated circuits operating in the mmWave and sub-THz frequency ranges. Key responsibilities include schematic design, layout coordination, performance simulation, and evaluation of mixed-signal/RF functionalities. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve high-performance, power-efficient designs that meet cutting-edge industry requirements for data center and 5G applications.

Qualifications
Education & Experience: Minimum Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering + 3 years, or M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of industrial experience.
Hands-on experience designing mm Wave & Sub-THz RFIC blocks (such as high-performance RX/TX amplifiers, and other analog circuits) at both schematic and layout levels using advanced SiGe and/or CMOS technologies.
Deep understanding of, and practical experience with, high-frequency (mmWave to sub-THz) IC design considerations, including parasitics, couplings, EM effects, layout effects, and transmission line effects.
Tool Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso Suite, EMX, HFSS, ADS, and Calibre. Unix and SKILL programming experience is a plus.
Understanding of Mechanical, Thermal Engineering aspects to ensure the integration of electronic components within mechanical constraints.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills are essential.
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, coupled with the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
