Metrology Engineer/Calibration Engineer (Fortune 500 Manufacturing)

We are representing a FORTUNE 500 Industry leading manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a senior level Metrology Engineer/Calibration Engineer at their flagship production site in due to newly awarded business and their continued expansion. Reporting to the Site Quality Director, this position will be responsible for leading measurement systems/metrology activities for the QA laboratory. This is a permanent, direct hire opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities:
Direct ownership of measurement and testing programs, ensuring metrology equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Supervise and develop hourly employees responsible for maintaining and monitoring metrology equipment.
Develop and enforce testing and inspection procedures within the lab.
Lead lab audit activities for systems and programs.
Recommend new and/or improved systems and technologies.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is required for consideration
3+ years of experience within metrology/measurement systems/QA testing environment(s).
