Are you a metrology expert ready to lead high-impact measurement initiatives in a cutting-edge engineering environment? Weβre looking for a Principal Metrology Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting product development, validation, and manufacturing excellence.
π° Compensation & Benefits
β’ Base Salary: $120,000
β’ 10% Performance Bonus
β’ Full Relocation Package

π§ What Youβll Do
β’ Lead advanced metrology activities across a range of products and components
β’ Define and optimize gaging methods and measurement strategies
β’ Apply and advise on GD&T interpretation and best practices
β’ Oversee calibration, operation, and maintenance of metrology equipment (CMM, TSK, Taylor Hobson, and more)
β’ Partner with engineering and lab teams to support new product launches and validation efforts
β’ Identify capability gaps and drive innovation in measurement technologies
β’ Mentor and guide technicians; contribute to cross-functional project teams

β What You Bring
β’ BS in Engineering (STEM) required; advanced degree preferred
β’ 10β15 years of metrology experience
β’ Deep expertise in metrology equipment, programming, and data acquisition systems
β’ Strong proficiency in GD&T application and gage development
β’ Experience with TS16949 / ISO9001 quality systems
β’ Mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills

β Nice to Have
β’ Bearing design or manufacturing experience
β’ Calypso / TSK programming knowledge
β’ Strong communication and team collaboration skills

π Work Environment
β’ Primarily lab-based with some exposure to manufacturing areas
β’ Hands-on role with advanced equipment and components (up to 50 lbs)
β’ Safety-first culture with required PPE when applicable
