We are seeking an engineer or scientist (M.S. or Ph.D.) who will pursue applied research in the area of Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) inertial sensors, both gyroscopes and accelerometers. The potential areas of research and development include MEMS device design, device physics, electrical and/or mechanical simulations, sensor testing, and data analysis.

The scientist will be expected to develop new concepts, write project proposals, and develop new technologies for future products. This will include understanding customer requirements and translating those into device and product requirements.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research and development activities aligned with organizational goals and objectives
Design and conduct experiments, simulations, and analyses to drive new technology and product development
Lead ideation, conceptualization, and prototyping of innovative solutions
Collaborate with internal and external partners
Ensure R&D projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality protocols
Contribute to strategies for successful commercialization of R&D innovations

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Masters in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline and 7 years experience.
Experience with development, testing, and troubleshooting of sensors and their associated electronics.
