Job Title: Mechatronics Designer

Location: Milwaukee , Wisconsin (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card Only

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop electromechanical products and assemblies using CREO.
Integrate PCBAs, sensors, switches, and HMI components into mechanical designs.
Create 3D CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation.
Develop packaging solutions that optimize space, serviceability, and manufacturability.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles throughout product development.
Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier teams.
Support prototype builds, design verification, product testing, and engineering changes.
Resolve design issues and support production launches.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in CREO.
Experience integrating PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies) into mechanical products.
Knowledge of HMI (Human Machine Interface) components such as buttons, displays, touch interfaces, or switches.
Experience with Product Packaging and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Strong understanding of mechanical design, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Access Control, or Electromechanical Product Design.
Familiarity with plastic part design, sheet metal, die-cast components, and prototype development.
Experience supporting products from concept through production.
