Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to support the development, assembly, integration, and testing of precision mechanisms used in advanced space-flight systems. This role plays a key part in both new development and sustaining engineering activities, ensuring mechanisms meet performance, reliability, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute mechanical testing campaigns, including vibration, shock, thermal-vacuum (TVAC), and functional tests.
Develop test requirements, procedures, materials, tooling, and documentation.
Participate in iterative design improvements by feeding back findings from testing and production.
Conduct design and system trade studies to optimise workflow efficiency, integration, testability, and production rate.
Collaborate closely with design engineering to improve manufacturability, cost, and assembly flow.
Generate reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising data from testing and operations.
Investigate anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
Provide manufacturing engineering support to production teams.

Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Preferably 2+ years of experience in aerospace or similar high-reliability industries.
Understanding of mechanism development and testing for complex hardware systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
