Opportunity Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next‑generation semiconductor test platforms, supporting mechanical design, system integration, and product development initiatives. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate system requirements into robust, manufacturable mechanical solutions.

Develop and refine mechanical designs for semiconductor test systems, applying best practices to solve complex engineering challenges
Translate system‑level requirements into scalable mechanical architectures supporting precision signal delivery and docking solutions
Drive design tradeoffs across performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost constraints
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and global suppliers to ensure alignment of requirements, risks, and production readiness
Support product development activities including design reviews, change management, and project execution
Contribute to platform‑level solutions that meet reliability, thermal, and system integration requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering with 3–8 years of relevant industry experience
Strong proficiency in CAD and simulation tools, including SOLIDWORKS and FEA tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation
Solid understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design fundamentals
Experience solving component and subsystem‑level engineering problems in a collaborative development environment
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly through documentation, reports, and cross‑functional discussions
Experience working with cross‑functional teams and supporting product development from concept through production

Additional Information

Familiarity with SEMI standards is a plus
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically or internationally

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $160,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
