Join an early-stage robotics company building autonomous systems designed to transform industrial automation. Backed by significant funding and operating with a small, high-calibre team, this is an opportunity to join at the ground floor and help shape both the technology and the company.

This role is ideal for hands-on builders who enjoy moving quickly, owning major technical challenges, and taking hardware from concept through deployment.

What’s in it for you?

High ownership from day one – Design and build robotic hardware that directly impacts deployed systems. You won't inherit a small subsystem or become responsible for one narrow component.
Build across the full hardware stack – Work on robotic arms, end-effectors, actuators, teleoperation systems, and custom assemblies.
Move fast – Prototype and iterate in days or weeks, not months.
Work alongside exceptional engineers – Collaborate with a lean team spanning hardware, ML, software, and deployment.
Meaningful equity and above-market compensation – Strong rewards for engineers who want to build and own.
Ground-floor opportunity – Influence architecture, engineering processes, and long-term technical direction at an early-stage company.

What you'll do

Design and prototype robotic hardware systems
Own actuator integration and mechanical design
Perform FEA and structural analysis
Build grippers, tooling, fixtures, and robotic assemblies
Collaborate closely with software and ML teams
Take designs from concept to deployment in industrial environments

Ideal background

Mechanical engineering experience in robotics, hardware, aerospace, autonomous systems, or advanced products
Strong CAD capability (SolidWorks, Onshape, Fusion 360 or similar)
Experience with prototyping, fabrication, and mechanical systems
Builder mentality — personal projects, hardware portfolios, or evidence you genuinely enjoy creating things
