For our Crankbrothers R&D team in the US, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer, responsible for designing and developing innovative products, ensuring they meet technical specifications, manufacturing feasibility, and performance standards. You will collaborate with engineering teams and suppliers to transform high-precision designs from concept to production. Could it be you?

Crankbrothers is an American brand that engineers quality mountain bike products, including pedals, wheels and shoes with an iconic design.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop high-quality products aligned with project objectives and goals.
Engineer product designs using 3D engineering software, ensuring compliance with manufacturing feasibility, technical specifications, and production requirements—whether in house or at supplier locations.
Generate and review 2D drawings with appropriate inspection dimensions and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
Collaborate closely with engineers, cross-functional teams, international colleagues, vendors, and external partners to facilitate problem-solving and ensure smooth processes within the design team, factories, and supplier sites.
Conduct research to support the development of innovative designs, processes, and technologies.


YOUR SKILLS:

In-depth knowledge of thermoplastic, composite, metal materials;
Good experience in applying a variety of engineering tools such as statistics, GD&T, FMEA and tolerance analysis;
Extensive CAD experience;
Experience designing and building composite parts;
Manufacturing and prototyping experience preferred;
Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management system (PLM);
communication, teamwork and relationship building skills;
Work in versatile international teams across time zones.


OUR REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent engineering disciplines.
Professional mechanical design experience in the outdoor, automotive, sporting goods industry.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
