Planning and executing on performance, validation, endurance, and life cycle testing.
Troubleshooting root-cause of mechanical failures and implementing improved designs.
Leading CM’s and Scaling partners for high volume production.
Collaborating with the reliability team for high-reliability mechanical and electrical design.
Building subsystem test fixtures, designing tests, and analyzing data.
Designing battery docking and interface components and other humanoid robot systems as needed.
8+ years experience in Mechanical Design Engineering.
BS degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with lightweight custom battery development and thermal management.
Proficiency in performance and validation testing, and CAD tools like SOLIDWORKS.
Experience with prototyping manufacturing processes and materials.
Familiarity with tolerance analysis and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Preferred experience in Robotics and consumer electronic product design.
