We are a pioneering swarm robotics company developing low-cost, autonomous solutions for industrial and defense applications. Our mission is to transform society and enhance defense capabilities through ubiquitous, attritable robot swarms. Our primary product is a fleet of Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) designed for sophisticated, coordinated mobility across challenging environments.
Led by experts with decades of experience from NASA, JPL, and the self-driving industry, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the hardware design and integration of our ground-based autonomous systems.
What You’ll Do:
Spearhead hardware design and integration efforts for our ground swarm robots.
Design mechanical solutions to integrate sensors, computers, and custom components into off-road autonomous vehicles.
Produce ruggedized designs capable of maintaining high performance in harsh, off-road environments.
Take technical ownership of hardware delivery through the full development cycle.
Collaborate with suppliers and OEM partners to evaluate component designs, requirements, and test plans.
Work cross-functionally in a high-paced, fluid tech startup environment.
You Should Have:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
2+ years of experience in CAD design for both prototype and production hardware components.
Proven track record of working through an entire product development cycle of a hardware design.
Bonus:
MS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Real-world experience designing and fabricating custom ruggedized parts for autonomous ground vehicles.
Knowledge of DoD requirements and defense-specific hardware standards.
