We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a fast-paced automation team designing custom packaging and conveyor systems for high-throughput manufacturing environments.
This is a highly hands-on design role where engineering decisions directly impact machine performance on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
Design custom automation and conveyor equipment
Perform high-volume sheet metal design (20–30 iterations daily)
Size and select gearbox systems for motion applications
Perform motor sizing and selection for automated equipment
Design and size pneumatic systems and components
Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure manufacturability
Support machine debug, integration, and commissioning as needed
What We’re Looking For
Strong background in mechanical design for automation or capital equipment
Extensive experience with sheet metal design in a fast-paced environment
Hands-on experience with:
Gearbox sizing
Motor sizing
Pneumatic system design
Strong understanding of fabrication and real-world machine build constraints
