This role is ideal for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for product development. You’ll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to design, develop, and refine mechanical products from concept through production. The position offers a strong blend of creativity and practicality, with a focus on designing for manufacturability and improving existing product lines.
Salary: 65-75k
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical products and components using CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
Create detailed drawings, assemblies, and specifications for production
Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new product designs
Assist in continuous improvement efforts for existing products and processes
Work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
1–4+ years of experience in mechanical/product design
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
