Mechanical Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
Open to entry level candidates with strong SolidWorks/CAD experience or 2 to 5 years in OEM product development and NPD environments
Proficient with SolidWorks and PDM systems
Experience creating BOMs, product configurations, assemblies, and production ready designs
Familiar with sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
Exposure to lean manufacturing and Kanban systems
Hands on machine shop experience is a plus

Responsibilities:
Drive design optimization and product configuration from concept through production
Create and maintain SolidWorks models, assemblies, and BOMs
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and cross functional teams
Troubleshoot design issues related to sheet metal and manufacturability
Manage projects, timelines, and customer communication
Support product testing, validation, and production readiness
