Mechanical Engineer – Electromechanical Components

No Visa Sponsorship is Available, Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Are you the kind of engineer who loves getting into the details—how components fit together, how loads move through a design, and how performance improves with each iteration? If you’re energized by building smart electromechanical products rather than managing dashboards or chasing KPIs, this role was built for you.
We’re looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the development of high‑performance electromechanical components used inside advanced machines. This is a product‑focused role for someone who enjoys deep technical ownership, close collaboration, and seeing designs progress from concept through validation and production.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and continuously improve mechanical assemblies for actuator and motion‑control product lines
Own detailed component‑level design work, including gears, bearings, shafts, housings, and linear motion elements
Create and maintain 3D models and engineering documentation using modern CAD tools
Perform load analysis, tolerance studies, and design trade‑offs to ensure robust, reliable performance
Plan and support mechanical testing, using measurement tools to validate performance, durability, and real‑world behavior
Collaborate closely with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and production‑ready
Support new product introductions by working directly with manufacturing and quality during builds, testing, and issue resolution
The Kind of Engineer Who Thrives Here
You have 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or product development
You’ve worked on electromechanical, actuator, or motion‑control products, or closely related systems
You value design and development more than cost‑cutting projects or KPI‑driven initiatives
You bring a startup‑style mindset—curious, detail‑oriented, and motivated by building great products
You’ve spent time in a manufacturing environment and understand how design decisions show up on the shop floor
You’re comfortable working cross‑functionally and incorporating feedback from manufacturing and quality early in the design process
You demonstrate thoughtful career progression and long‑term ownership over the products you help create
Technical Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
Strong proficiency with 3D CAD; SolidWorks experience is highly preferred
Solid understanding of mechanical systems including gears, bearings, linear motion components, and precision assemblies
Experience with load calculations, mechanical analysis, and performance trade studies
Hands‑on experience with mechanical testing, measurement tools, and performance validation
Why This Role Is Different
This is component‑level design, not total machine design
You’ll be creating critical electromechanical building blocks that go inside customers’ machines
Your work directly impacts performance, reliability, and how customers differentiate their products
You’ll have real design ownership and influence—not just incremental updates

If you’re motivated by solving mechanical challenges, refining designs until they’re right, and building smart electromechanical components that truly matter, I'd love to hear from you.
