Are you a hands-on engineer who thrives at the intersection of precision design, innovation, and real-world problem solving? We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team, contributing to the development of next-generation high-precision semiconductor equipment.
In this role, you’ll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to design, integrate, prototype, and validate advanced systems in the cutting-edge field of imprint lithography.
🔧 What You’ll Do
Design and develop high-precision subsystems for semiconductor capital equipment
Perform engineering analyses, including FEA and related methodologies
Drive design for manufacturability and serviceability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to communicate technical solutions
Assemble and test prototype systems
Design and execute experiments to validate system and subsystem performance
Conduct error budget analysis across electromechanical, optical, pneumatic, fluid, and vacuum systems
Maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications and theory of operation
🧠 What You Bring
BS in Mechanical Engineering + 5 years of experience (MS preferred)
Hands-on experience with design, debugging, and testing of:
Linear and/or rotary stages
Pneumatic systems (regulators, solenoids)
Optical or capacitive sensors
Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis
Integration experience with pneumatic, vacuum, optical, and sensing systems
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (Creo, NX, or similar)
Familiarity with MATLAB or Octave is a plus
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
