0–2 years of experience (internships/co-ops in testing, manufacturing, or product development preferred)
Strong foundation in: Mechanics of materials
Proficiency with data analysis in Excel (or similar tools)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Engineer to support the design verification, validation, and testing of medical devices within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role will focus on executing hands-on mechanical testing, developing and maintaining test methods and fixtures, and analyzing product performance to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
The engineer will assist in running test protocols (DV/V&V), including fatigue, tensile/compression, pressure, and durability testing, while collecting and interpreting data to generate detailed technical reports. This individual will also support troubleshooting of test equipment and setups, contribute to root cause analysis and failure investigations, and partner closely with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to drive product and process improvements.
Hourly Pay: $40-$45 an hour
