One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer in Fremont, OH location to join their team.
Pay Rate : $80k-$100k
Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and systems with a focus on new product development and innovation
Create, review, and update engineering drawings, specifications, and product documentation
Drive product development initiatives by identifying design improvements and optimization opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, production, quality, and maintenance to support product lifecycle
Conduct testing, analysis, and validation to ensure product performance, reliability, and quality
Troubleshoot design-related issues and implement effective engineering solutions
Ensure all product designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MBA Preferred)
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
Experience with product design and development
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools
