Mechanical Design Engineer (Data Center / MEP – Revit)

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP – Revit-focused) to join a leading team delivering cutting-edge data center developments in Kansas City. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, high-performance projects where innovation, resilience, and precision are critical.
The Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and coordination of complex building systems within mission-critical environments. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated, high-quality designs from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and coordination of mechanical systems, including HVAC infrastructure, for large-scale data centres
Produce and manage detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Revit, ensuring clash-free integration across all disciplines
Work closely with architectural, structural, and construction teams to achieve coordinated and efficient project delivery
Support the full design lifecycle, from concept development through to construction, including preparation of specifications and technical documentation
Ensure all designs meet industry standards, client expectations, and data center performance requirements (resilience, redundancy, efficiency)
Assist in the transition from design through to construction and commissioning, ensuring seamless project execution
About You
Proven experience in MEP design, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector
Strong proficiency in Revit and 3D modelling coordination
Solid understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical infrastructure in complex environments
