ACCIONA, within its Water business line, is seeking to hire a Mechanical / Process Technical Lead to support the delivery of a major desalination project in Corpus Christi, Texas.
This role acts as the technical authority for desalination processes and mechanical systems, ensuring that design, equipment, and construction solutions are robust, efficient, and aligned with performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical oversight of desalination processes (pretreatment, reverse osmosis, post-treatment)
Provide expertise on mechanical systems (pumps, piping, pressure systems, valves, chemical systems)
Review and approve engineering designs and vendor deliverables
Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases
Act as the main technical reference to resolve complex issues
Ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering
Proven experience in water, wastewater, or desalination projects
Strong knowledge of SWRO or advanced treatment systems
Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and hydraulic systems
Experience in EPC or design-build projects is a plus
