What You Will Do
Design and model mechanical enclosures, mounts, and integration systems for high-bandwidth optical hardware using SolidWorks or Fusion.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate optical sensors and communications equipment into diverse industrial environments.
Lead field trials and customer pilots, troubleshooting complex system-level mechanical issues during real-world deployments.
The ideal candidate
Has 3-8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for robotics, autonomous systems, or ruggedized hardware products.
Demonstrates mastery of CAD modeling and a proven track record of moving designs from initial concept to physical deployment.
Thrives in fast-paced startup environments and is willing to travel periodically for hands-on testing and on-site installations.
