Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Akron, OH, for a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer. The MEP Engineer will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a wide range of projects. Day-to-day tasks include working with design teams and clients, producing detailed drawings, reviewing project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and troubleshooting and resolving design and system challenges. This role requires cross-disciplinary collaboration and attention to detail to deliver effective and innovative engineering solutions.
Qualifications
Expertise in Plumbing and Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Experience in MEP Coordination and Building Services
Strong knowledge of Plumbing Engineering and related design principles
Outstanding problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Proficiency in relevant engineering design and drafting software
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
Professional engineering license or ability to obtain one is highly desirable
Experience in designing systems for healthcare, education, or commercial facilities is a plus
