Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical products for data center applications.
Perform electrical calculations, component selection, cable sizing, and wiring schematic development.
Design UL-compliant control panels and integrate motors, VFDs, transformers, and protection devices.
Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks and PLM systems.
Implement engineering changes (ECO/ECM) and support product design lifecycle activities.
Collaborate with global teams, manufacturing, vendors, and customers to resolve design issues.
Support prototype builds, testing, design verification (DVP/DVR), and product validation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
3+ years of experience as a Product Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, or Electrical Design Engineer.
Hands-on experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, drawings, and product documentation.
Experience in electrical product design, control panels, power distribution systems, or data center infrastructure products.
Knowledge of electrical components, motor controls, VFDs, transformers, protection devices, wiring schematics, and cable sizing.
Experience with CAD, BOM management, PLM systems, and Engineering Change Management processes.
Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, manufacturing support, and product validation skills.
