y.Design experience using Solidworks, AutoCAD ProE or similar 3D CAD system is require
d.Experience designing Capital Equipment for Semiconduct
orIndustry is preferred (vacuum vessels, wafer handling, motion mechanisms, etc
).Knowledge of ion beam and/or vacuum physics is preferre
d.Experience in Mechanical products design & developmen
t.Knowledge in Machined component
s.Sheet metal parts design and Detailin
g.Design of weldments and fabrication knowled
geKnowledge of drafting standards, ASME Y 14.5 GD&T standar
d.Experience in SAP or similar PLM syste
m.Knowledge of Engineering change notifications and implementing changes ECR/ECO/EC
N.Structural and thermal finite element analysis experience (Solidworks Simulation, ANSYS, etc) is preferr

ies:Work on development projects of vacuum process equipment, with the responsibility for all mechanical design aspects and manufacturing of the equipment, subassemblies and compone
nts.Provide mechanical engineering expertise, while focusing on design quality, reliability, cost, and ease of manufactur
ing.Perform analytical studies and theoretical calculations, requiring a variety of engineering knowledge, including analysis of vacuum vessels, heat transfer, material structural analysis, fluids, motion mechani
sms.Define mechanical design specifications based on customer requirements and company capabilit
ies.Prepare presentations and present design concepts, ideas, and test results to internal and external custom
ers.Provide expertise in mechanical engineering while participating in design reviews, support procurement efforts in correlation with overall project deadli
nes.Provide “hands on” assistance and support to the manufacturing t
eam.Develop test plans and design of experiments and is directly involved in prototype development and test
ing.Create and release engineering documentation through the ECO pro

Pay Range Minimum: $37.00 p
er hourPay Range Maximum: $50.00 p

Compensation and
BenefitsA candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
