SolidWorks Design Engineer 3D Development & Drafting
Description :
The candidate will be responsible for design and part modelling , sheet metal, assemblies.
The role involves 3D modelling, 2D drafting, flat pattern generation, and preparation of manufacturing documentation using SolidWorks
Description:
Develop 3D models using SolidWorks Part Design, Sheet Metal, and Assembly modules.
Ensure fully defined, parametric, and constrained models suitable for future optimization.
Generate flat patterns and DXF files for all laser-cut sheet metal parts with bend lines.
Prepare 2D drawings with Bill of Materials, views, sections, tolerances, and isometric views.
Create General Arrangement (GA), Assembly, and Manufacturing drawings in PDF format.
Maintain Drawing List in Excel with part number, description, and weight.
Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks
Excellent knowledge of part Design , Sheet Metal Design, Flat Pattern Development, and Fabrication Detailing.
Proficiency in 2D Drafting, GD&T, and parametric design principles.
Familiarity with industrial conveyors, ventilation systems, and cleanroom structures preferred.
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes for sheet metal parts.
