Key Responsibiliti
es3D Modeling & Design: Utilize SolidWorks to create complex 3D parts, large assemblies, and highly accurate surface or solid model
s.2D Technical Drafting: Generate detailed, production-ready 2D engineering drawings with appropriate Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&;T), tolerance stack-up analyses, and material specification
s.Component Optimization: Redesign and optimize existing components to improve functionality, reduce weight, or lower manufacturing cost
s.Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Design parts tailored for specific fabrication methods, including injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and castin
g.Collaboration & Prototyping: Partner with cross-functional teams (production, quality, and procurement) to build, test, and refine physical prototype
s.Data Management: Maintain engineering BOMs (Bill of Materials) and manage design files using PDM/PLM systems to ensure strict version control
