We have an excellent opportunity available for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for an industry leading manufacturer near the Binghamton, NY area.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and revise mechanical designs, specifications, and drawings
Ensure form, fit, and function through dimensional analysis
Support sample builds, testing, and customer prototypes
Collaborate cross functionally to resolve manufacturing and quality issues
Interface with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Provide engineering input for cost estimates and product requests

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
1-3+ years of work experience, co-ops or internships
Experience with electro-mechanical products
Experience with designs, layouts, and specifications
Exposure to manufacturing and prototype support
Proficient with Creo or other 3D CAD tools
