We're hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electro-mechanical systems in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role focuses on mechanical design, thermal analysis, vacuum systems, product validation, and cross-functional engineering collaboration from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and components.
Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Perform thermal, structural, stress, vibration, and fluid flow analyses to optimize product performance.
Conduct feasibility studies, testing, validation, and design reviews.
Develop FMEA, risk assessments, technical specifications, and validation plans.
Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure manufacturable, cost-effective designs.
Support prototype builds, product validation, and design improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on engineering projects.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong experience designing complex mechanical or electro-mechanical systems.
Proficiency with Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software.
Strong understanding of heat transfer, structural analysis, fluid flow, vibration, and manufacturability.
Experience with FMEA, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), risk assessments, and technical design reviews.
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with vacuum system design and high-voltage/RF systems.
Background in semiconductor, precision equipment, aerospace, or other advanced manufacturing industries.
Experience leading engineering projects and mentoring technical teams.
