Pay Rate: Up to $60/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong CAD design experience to support engineering and product development activities within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role will focus on mechanical design, CAD modeling, engineering documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments, strong proficiency with NX CAD software, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical Design & Engineering
Develop and modify mechanical designs and assemblies using NX CAD software
Create and maintain detailed 3D models, drawings, and engineering documentation
Support design updates, engineering changes, and product improvement initiatives
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability
Review and interpret technical specifications and requirements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and technical teams to support project execution
Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
Communicate project status, technical findings, and design updates effectively
Support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives
Documentation & Support
Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation
Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication
Support project timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced engineering environment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
Strong proficiency with NX CAD software
Experience with mechanical design and CAD modeling
Experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments preferred
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and mechanical design principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in an onsite collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting semiconductor equipment or related technologies
Exposure to product development and engineering change processes
Experience collaborating with manufacturing and production teams
Familiarity with high-tech or precision manufacturing environments
Interview Process
30-minute interview with the hiring manager
In-person candidate screening/interview required prior to offer consideration
Work Environment
Fully onsite engineering and manufacturing environment
