Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in Body and Chassis design within the automotive or commercial vehicle domain. This role requires hands-on expertise in Siemens NX and a solid understanding of structural design and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop body/chassis components and structural systems
Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using Siemens NX
Perform design calculations and support structural validation (FEA preferred)
Apply DFM, DFA, DFMEA, and PFMEA methodologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, suppliers)
Support prototype builds, testing, and production launches
Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and manufacturability standards
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in automotive / truck / trailer / heavy vehicle design
Strong expertise in Body/Chassis engineering
Hands-on experience with Siemens NX
Knowledge of sheet metal, welded assemblies, and structural components
Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, DFA, DFM
Understanding of manufacturing processes (stamping, welding, fabrication)
Exposure to FEA tools (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial vehicles or trailer design
Familiarity with PLM tools (Teamcenter)
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
