Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Marlborough, MA
Duration: 6-month contract, potential to extend
Shift: 8AM-4:30PM
Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical components for medical device systems. his role focuses on component‑level design while maintaining responsibility for interface definition, tolerance analysis, and integration into the overall device architecture in a regulated environment.

What You’ll Do:
Design and refine mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices
Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and print packages
Own interfaces, tolerances, and integration into larger device systems
Support design verification testing and downstream validation activities
Collaborate with Product Development, Validation, and external vendors
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of mechanical engineering experience
Strong mechanical design experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD tools
Experience creating detailed drawings and print packages
Experience designing components and integrating them into full assemblies
Experience supporting design verification testing
Medical device or other highly regulated industry experience

Compensation: $40/hr to $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
