The ideal candidate has mid-to-senior level tooling design experience and is proficient in Onshape or SolidWorks, with a willingness to work in Onshape as the primary design platform.

Key Responsibilities
Design and detail mechanical hardware for multiple automation system projects including system layouts, cable tray/wireway routing, mechanical tooling and fixtures, CNC fixtures, tooling accessories, and pneumatic/hydraulic devices and circuitry.
Execute robot end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) design with an emphasis on precision, functionality, and manufacturability.
Execute layout design tasks using AutoCAD and Onshape; execute equipment design tasks using Onshape as the primary 3D CAD platform.
Create and/or receive 3D simulation data as part of the design lineup.
Assume lead design engineer role on assigned projects; maintain and track personal workload across multiple concurrent tasks.
Attend project team meetings, customer meetings, and design reviews; support mechanical and electrical hardware integration.
Lead vendor design process and schedule design reviews.
Manage scheduling of design tasks, redline drawing updates, and mechanical drawing file control.
